Our crawler discovers thousands of reachable Bitcoin nodes. The actual number is higher as many nodes operate behind firewalls without accepting incoming connections.

Which Bitcoin Core version should I run?

Always use the latest stable Bitcoin Core release from bitcoincore.org. Newer versions include security patches, performance improvements, and protocol upgrades.

What hardware do I need for a Bitcoin node?

Minimum requirements: 1 TB SSD, 8 GB RAM, and a stable internet connection. A Raspberry Pi 5 or any low-power mini-PC works well. Initial sync takes 1-3 days.

How often is node data updated?

Our Bitcoin network crawler runs continuously, checking node reachability every few minutes. Statistics refresh every 5 minutes.
